Annandale Waterfalls

Saturday December 28th, 2013

After having a fun time at Grand Etang, we headed back down to Annandale Falls. Getting to the Falls from Grand Etang involves a harpin turn. This means a way fun traffic situation.

Four cars, four different directions. On the road, off the road, you name it. Haha. Love it.

Before we went down to the Falls, we saw this poor little confused hummingbird. Maybe he was fighting with his reflection?

Annadale is very touristy. Don't take pictures of anyone because they will demand payment.

They were so hardcore they didn't even take my good looks and charm "oh we are students" that gets us in for free. Whatevs Annandale.

First view of the Falls.

The nice thing about Annandale is that it is a short, easy, paved walk to the waterfall.

It was kind of a fun game to try to get a picture without a tourist. For some reason I used my discretion this time and excluded all the Germans in tiny swim trunks that photo bombed.

Instead I will paint a picturesque setting, where I rented out the waterfall, and we were the only ones there.

Annandale has Jumpers. Or, guys you pay to jump off the waterfall -for a price of course.

This guy was kind of boring, some of them really put on a show, but you can see that the waterfall is pretty high.

We hiked up to the top of the waterfall.

There are a number of different trails in the area. I know many of these waterfalls are connected, like a huge jungle matrix.

We walked around a little bit. Lots of beautiful flora and fauna.

Lots of photo ops when your background is this gorgeous.

Sisters for eternityyy!

After our little hike, we hit the road. The day was young, so headed to Flamingo Bay.
